First off, you have to limit the amount of stress in your life! I know that’s easier said than done considering no one actually asks for stress, but this first step in minimizing breakouts actually correlates to the second step… get more sleep! Lack of sleep results in more stress hormones, your skin also repairs itself at night. That means that more sleep equals less stress and more time to revamp.
While the first two tricks might be things you might not always be able to accomplish, there are a few more simple tricks that you should incorporate into you every day life.
- Drink more water
- Cut back on caffeine (this includes coffee and chocolate, sadly)
- Eat more fruits and vegetables
- Hit the gym (with a bare face) – This might sound weird, but working out regularly will encourage you to eat healthier and that in turn will give you some healthy glowing skin!
